Sharon Norton Gainey, 59, passed away Thursday, December 12, at Morrison Manor.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by Nelson Bailey.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Gainey; her son, Bruce Gainey of Laurinburg; her daughter, Regina Gainey of Florida; her brother, Ricky Norton of Laurinburg; her sister, Karen Huckabee of Laurel Hill; two grandchildren, Valli and Erin Gainey, her niece, Buffy Tompkins; her great nephew, Michah Stanton, and great nieces, Alexis and Lauren Tompkins.
She was born in Marlboro County and was a daughter of the late Ruby Nell Chavis and granddaughter of the late Elsie Stephens.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
