Sarah McRae Martin, 77, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at home with her family by her side. She was originally from Proctorville, NC.
A service to Celebrate the life of Sarah will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member officiated by Rev. Scott Finicum. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be at the Proctorville Cemetery, Proctorville NC at 3:30 pm.
Born November 16, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Hoyt and Margaret Graham McRae.
She is survived by: her husband of 58 years, John B. Martin of the home; daughter, Lisa Martin of Troy; son, David Martin (Laura) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Taylor Seawell and Charlotte Martin. Her sisters, Joan Echerd and Patty Jane Griffin also preceded her in death.
