Sarah Jenkins Barfield Pate

Mrs. Sarah Jones Jenkins Barfield Pate, 64, of 15521 Rhonda Street died Monday, January 18, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Wagram officiated by the Rev. Frank Ingram.
Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Harold L. Barfield, Jr. and David W. Barfield of Laurinburg; a daughter, Jeanie Callahan of Laurel Hill; a sister, Lula 'Doodie' Jenkins Peck of Rockville, MD; her former husband, Charles Pate of Laurinburg; 5 grandchildren, Jeff Baldwin, Eric Barfield, Jessica Barfield, Jenny Douglas, and Leslie Douglas.
Born December 15, 1934 in Moore County, she was a daughter of the late Edgar O. and Lottie Jones Jenkins. She was a former program assistant for Resource Housing of America.

Visitation will be 7 - p p.n. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium in Laurinburg.
