Sammy "Sam" Wayne Sampson

Sammy “Sam” Wayne Sampson, 48, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at his home.

Sam’s family will have a private celebration of life with a big bonfire.  His family and friends will gather to share their memories of Sam.

Born January 20, 1973 in Brevard County FL, he is a son of Jerry and Charolette Smith Sampson of Mt. Gilead.  Sam was a jack-of-all trades and loved working with his hands.  Anything that he did, he always gave 110 percent.  He lived life on his own terms and his children were his greatest accomplishment.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Julie Cable of Wallburg; his son, Justin Sampson of Randleman; his sister, Barbie Brittingham of Asheboro; his two brothers, Jerry Sampson, Jr. of Mt. Gilead and Bob Sampson of Charleston, SC; and three grandchildren.
