Laurel Hill
Mrs. Sadie Jane McFarland Faulk, 93, of Laurel Hill died Tuesday, January 29 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel, Laurinburg officiated by the Rev. Randall Snead. Burial will follow in Woodville Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
She is survived by three sons, Harold Faulk and wife, Betty of Laurinburg, Charles Faulk of Wagram, Archie Faulk and wife, Laura of Huntersville; two daughters, Lorene Snead and husband, Roy of Laurel Hill, and Shelby Parrish of Troy, MO; 27 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Sue Faulk and a son-in-law, David Heider of Wagram. She was preceded in death by a son, William Faulk and a daughter Shirley Heider.
Born October 5, 1914 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Georgia Teal McFarland and widow of the late William Faulk. She was a retired employee of Waverly Mills and enjoyed cooking and feeding family, friends and fellow employees at Waverly Mills.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
