Ruth White Redding, 93, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Centre Presbyterian Church, Maxton, NC officiated by the Revs. Rick Foreman, Carl Redding and Glenn Grant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Carl (Gail) and Robert Redding of Laurinburg; daughters, Emily (Keith) Irwin of Shawnee, KS, Rebecca (Glenn) Grant of Lumberton, and Mary and Robin Redding of Columbia, SC; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ben White, Mary White Watson, and Jim White.
Born September 9, 1917 in Maxton, she was a daughter of the late Alexander H. and Emily Stewart White and was married 47 years to the late Carl Walker "Jim"A
