Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Moore Jenrette, 85, formerly of South Pine St. died Saturday, August 12, at the NC Cancer Institute in Lumberton.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by the Rev. Elizabeth Forester.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Riggins of Laurinburg and Clara Marks of Riegelwood; a sister, Kathleen Sikora of Port Charlotte, FL; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William Moore Jenrette of Wadesboro.
Born August 14, 1914 in Wayne County, she was a daughter of the late Henry C. and Lula Rouse Moore and widow of the late Poe Wilbur Jenrette. She was a retired sales clerk for the Glamor Shop in Laurinburg and later Lillie Rubin in Charlotte.
