Mrs. Ruth Higgins Hasty, 98, formerly of Maxton died Wednesday, August 4, at Triad United Methodist Home in Winston-Salem.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Maxton officiated by the Rev. Diana Killian.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane Geiser of Hamilton, Montana.
Born January 24, 1901 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Carlton and Anna Harrill Higgins and widow of the late Clarence Augustus "Gus" Hasty. She was a graduate of Womena
