Miss Ruth Ollie Dunn, 84 formerly of Laurel Hill died Tuesday, January 25, at Greystone Manor Nursing Home in Red Springs.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tom Denny and Brian Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Born June 20, 1915 in Maxton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Robinson Dunn. A former patient care coordinator with the Laurel Hill Nursing Home, she later provided childcare in her home. Ruth was a member of the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.
Her sister, Lela Campbell of Gastonia, and a brother, Frank Dunn of Laurel Hill, survive her. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.
The family will be receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM Friday at McDougald Funeral Home in Laurel Hill.
