Mr. Ruben Stephen "Steve" Prevatte, 88, formerly of Laurinburg died Monday, March 20, 2006 at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern, NC.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday at First Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. L.D. Kimrey and Rev. Steve Fitzgerald. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Mr. Prevatte was born December 9, 1917 in Robeson County a son of the late Reuben Page and Laura Rodgers Prevatte. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a long time downtown Laurinburg businessman, operating Steve Prevattea
