Roy Edwin "Bubber" McDonald, 75, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Luke United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Jay Winston. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by three sons, Chip McDonald and wife, Cindy of Laurel Hill, Mark McDonald and wife, Carol of Laurinburg, and Mike McDonald and wife, Kim of Ocean Isle; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Born March 3, 1933 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Roy and Laura Everett McDonald and widower of the late Shirley Hatcher McDonald. Bubber served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and later as a Laurinburg policeman. He then served as a barber at City Barber Shop for over 40 years. He was also a member of the Laurinburg Kiwanis Club.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
