Mrs. Rose McCall Covington, 75, of 199-C Plaza Road died Tuesday, June 12, at Britthaven Nursing Home in Hamlet.
A Mass of Resurrection will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church officiated by Father Kevin Fahey. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
She is survived by a son , James T. "Pinky" Covington and his wife Jackie of Laurinburg; a sister, Eloise M. Maher of Babylon, NY; and two grandchildren, Adam.P. Covington and Jonathan A. Covington.
Born January 26, 1926 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late James Marvin and Eupha Lavinia McCall. She was a retired operator with Southern Bell Telephone Company.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 2636, Chapel Hill, NC 27515.
