Rosa Marie Smith, 50, died Friday, August 22.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Deal Hammonds of Maxton, her daughter, Jessica Knight (Johnny) of Laurel Hill; her sister, Sarah Newcomb of Maxton; her close friend, Dexter Jones of Maxton; 4 grandchildren, Jayden Knight, Johnny Knight, Jr., Lillian Knight, and Peyton Knight. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heavenly Rose Knight.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
