Mrs. Rosa Gibson Michael, 87, formerly of Gibson died Wednesday, March 13, at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pine Crest Cemetery officiated by the Revs. Rick Hodges and Harold Salmon.
She is survived by a son, David McGregor of Laurinburg; a brother, J. D. Gibson of Gibson; four sisters, Bessie Turnage of Hamlet, Lela Shinn of Spartanburg, SC, Marie Bell of Laurinburg, and Nell Robinson of Wilmington.
Born August 6, 1914 in Scotland County, She was a daughter of the late Will H. and Josie Liles Gibson and widow of the late David W. Michael. She was a member of the Gibson Baptist Church, the Scotland County Extension Homemakers, the Friendly Club, and the C. D. A. Womena
