Ronnie Lee Stone, 56, died August 4, 2009 at Morrison Manor.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at East Laurinburg Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Lewis McLean. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
He is survived by a brother, Johnny Ray Stone of Wallace, SC and a sister, Becky Chavis and husband, Harry of Wallace, SC.
Born August 31, 1952 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late John M. and Annie McCormick Stone. He was a former employee with years of service to Waverly Mills and Service Thread. Ronnie was an avid softball player and fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
