Ronnie Lee Seabolt, 75, of Troy passed away Friday, October 10th at The Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC surrounded by love and family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Callicutt Chapel in Troy.
Ron was born on July 4th, 1950 in Spencer, WV as the oldest of seven children to Ray and Maxine Merritt Seabolt. Upon graduation from Badger High School in 1969, he joined the USAF where he had a 21-year career, making friends everywhere he went. Upon retirement he moved to Troy to attend MCC for their Gunsmithing, Metal Engraving, and Taxidermy program.
A loyal patriot he served as the American Legion Post 159 Adjutant and shook the hand of every veteran he met. Ron will be remembered for his love of family and country, making people laugh, generosity and kindness.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Cathy. Daughter Lynn Seabolt Epps and husband, Donny of Troy. Son, Steven Seabolt and wife Delilah of Smithville, TX. Grandchildren Nathan Lemonds and wife Ivey, Matthew Lemonds, Aubrey Epps, Luke Epps, Ethan Romero and Ella Seabolt. Great Grandson, Sawyer Lee Lemonds. Siblings, Donnie Seabolt, Ovia “Sis” York, Jack Seabolt and Herb Seabolt. Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Leota Grissom, brother Carl Seabolt, Sister-in-law Claudia Surverison, Father and Mother-in-law Don & Erla Fales.
In leu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gene Anderson Gunsmithing Scholarship at the Montgomery Community College Foundation.
