Ronald "Dink" Leon Deaton

Ronald “Dink” Leon Deaton, 60 of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Jerry Mabry. Burial will follow at Dover Baptist Church Cemetery in Seagrove. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Born January 1, 1958 in Montgomery County, he was the son of Laverne Spivey Deaton of Troy and the late Reece Deaton. He worked with Aberdeen Coca Cola for over 40 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, camping and fishing.

He is survived by one son, Ronald Reese Deaton of Mt. Gilead; two daughters, Heather Christine Deaton Lamonds of Star and Claudia Deaton Stewart of Troy; their mother, Sylvia Christine Morris of Mt. Gilead; two grandchildren, Gabriel Stewart and Faith Lamonds.
