Ronald Howard "Ronnie" Kersey, 59, died suddenly Monday, December 22, 2014 at his home.
A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the East Laurinburg Church of God. Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Quick Kersey; his daughters, Ashley Jones and husband, Shane of Taylorsville and Paige Kersey and fiancée, Jonathan Sessoms of North Wilkesboro, and Kaylee Quick of the home; his father, William Kersey of Laurinburg; his step-son, Todd Nolan and wife, Heather of Florence, SC; his step-daughter, Kelli Norton of Laurinburg; his brothers, Steve Kersey and wife, Geraldine and Ralph Kersey and wife, Angie of Laurinburg; his grandchildren, Sophie Jones, Madison Nolan and Ryan Nolan.
Ronald was born July 4, 1955 in Scotland County and was a son of William and the late Betty Sue Smith Kersey. He served as a mechanical supervisor at FCC.
He was an active member of the East Laurinburg Church of God, and loved auto racing, football, and especially his little daughter, Kaylee.
