Ronald Vernon Clewis, 68, of Laurinburg, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Tim Hodge.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
He was born on April 9, 1955, in Scotland County, to the late Vernon Lee and Lillie Mae Sessoms Clewis.
Ronald loved the outdoors; especially fishing and he also enjoyed selling produce. After his retirement, he enjoyed hanging out and talking with his friends.
He is survived by his step-sons, Steven Perkins and Frankie Gathings; sisters, Billie Darlene Sanders of Rockingham, Diane West of Laurinburg, Carla Polston (Gerald) of Laurinburg and Donna Good (Anthony) of Hendersonville, NC. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Lois Clewis.
