Roger Locklear, 64, of Maxton, passed away on October 3, 2013 at his residence.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bowen Family Cemetery in Laurinburg, N.C.
Roger was born July 4, 1949 to the late David and Lola Christine Seals Locklear.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Retha Campbell.
Roger leaves to cherish his memories to his step son; Earl Campbell of Maxton, his step daughters; Hilda Locklear of Shannon, Phoebe Jones of New Bern and Carrie Jones of Maxton; special nieces, Shannon Locklear of Rowland and Alberta Locklear of Laurel Hill; special friends, Randy and Mary McNeil of Maxton; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Bowen Family Cemetery.
