Roger Ray Kennedy

Roger Ray Kennedy, 73, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at North Oaks Medical Center in Louisiana.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Biscoe, officiated by Rev. Mike Greene, Dr. Harold Pope, and Rev. John Stinnett. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please practice social distancing.

Roger was born May 14, 1948 to the late Rufus Enoch and Pauline Cagle Kennedy. Roger was an original member of the Secret Agent Band for 45 years and a gifted artist and musician. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and a devoted husband and father, grandfather, and friend. Roger served six years in the Marine Corp Reserves.

Roger is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy Kennedy of the home; son, Chesley Kennedy (Vanessa) of Carthage; two granddaughters, Olivia Kennedy and Ava Kennedy.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Lee Kennedy.
