Robin Lee Pearson

Robin Lee Pearson, 69 of Concord, passed away at Five Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on September 11, 2024.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Hillside Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Tracy Gross.

Robin was born March 25, 1955 in Laurinburg, NC to the late Lawrence Benton and Sallie Jeanette Pearson.

He graduated from Scotland High School in 1976.  He worked in the maintenance and food service departments for Scotland County Schools.  Robin was NC Public Schools Maintenance Employee of the year for 1999-2000 and he received the Key Player Award of Scotland County Schools in February 2017.  He retired in November 2017.

Robin loved to fish and hunt and working in his yard.  He had beautiful flowers in his yard.  He particularly loved day lilies.  Robin was an avid fan of Carolina basketball and was of the Baptist faith.  He was a friend to everyone and he never met a stranger.  He was quick to assist his friends in need and he will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, William Glenn Pearson, Jr.  Robin is survived by his brother, Willam Glenn Pearson and his wife, Cathy; his nieces, Angela Pearson and her husband, Galen Morakis, Jessica Accornero; and his great-niece, Bailey Pearson.

The family will receive friends, Friday, September 13, 2024 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium.
