Mr. Robert "Bobby" D. Trawick, 69, formerly of Laurinburg died Tuesday, July 31, at the home of his sister, Carol Jordan in Raleigh.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel in Laurinburg officiated by the Revs. Ralph Brown, Wil Jackson, and William Trawick. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his sister, Carol T. Jordan of Raleigh; three sons, Robert D. Trawick, Jr. of Oklahoma City; Mark Anthony Trawick of Bowling Green, KY, and Samuel Paul Trawick of Monroe; two step-children, Jeno Marvel of Atlanta and Todd Marvel of Springfield, IL; five grandchildren.
Born Oct. 3, 1937 in Raeford, he was a son of the late Paul and Ethel McCormick Trawick. Robert served over eight years with the US Air Force and ofer two years in Vietnam. He was a dedicated fireman for the Laurinburg Fire Department for 20 years.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
