Robert Joseph Holcomb

Robert Joseph Holcomb, 66, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his residence.

Born October 2, 1955, in Scotland County, he was the son of the late Ben and Ruth Smith Holcomb. Robert was a laborer at Butler Manufacturing. He loved golfing, NASCAR, the beach, riding his motorcycle and fishing at Jordan Lake.

He is survived by his son, Robert “Pokey” Joseph Holcomb, Jr. of Laurinburg; his grandson, Brandon Dale Holcomb of Laurinburg; his siblings, Dottie Heppert (Don) of Charlotte, Ben M. Holcomb of Laurinburg, Judy H. Lockey of Laurinburg, and JoAnn Gentry (Woody) of Maxton; his wife, Phyllis Fields Holcomb of Laurinburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium.
