Robert Earl Goins Jr, 25, passed away July 24, 2015.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Pine Crest Cemetery in Gibson, officiated by Pastor Joe Barnhill.
He is survived by his parents, Sandra Jernigan Goins of Laurel Hill and Robert Earl Goins; brothers, Justin Dewayne Goins (Danielle Locklear) and Samuel Enacio Goins both of Laurel Hill; sisters, Ashley LeeAnna Goins (Gerald Gause Jr.) of McColl, S.C. and Carlie Elisha Jernigan of Laurel Hill; maternal grandfather Dewayne Jernigan (Gracie Myers) of Gibson; paternal grandparents James and Mary Jane Goins of McColl, S.C.; his aunts Wendy Chavis (Jerry) of Laurinburg and Sara Goins of McColl, S.C.; his uncle Junior Goins of McColl, S.C. ; honorary brothers Carmon Perkins of McColl, S.C. and Jerry Wayne Chavis II of Laurinburg; and several nieces and nephews, Alyssa Porter, Avah and Jazlynn Goins, Leo and Bella Gause and Pree Chavis. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elisa Jernigan, maternal great grandmother Irene Jernigan and a cousin Theresa Chavis.
He was born July 19, 1990 in Laurinburg and was employed with Willard Trucking Company. One of his greatest enjoyments was working with Willard Locklear. He enjoyed music and dancing, spending time and talking with family and friends, and was excited about becoming a new father of a baby boy, Elijah Robbie Goins.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium prior to the service.
