Mr. Robert Martin Fertsch, 83,of 15940 Lamar Ave. died Wednesday, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Hillside Memorial Park with Rev. Ervin Taylor officiating.
Born May 8, 1917 in Jamaica, NY, he was the son of the late Gustaf and Anna Kraus Fertsch and husband of the late Rose Felgate Fertsch. Mr. Fertsch was a US Air Force veteran of 17 years and was a retired custodian for Mineola High School in Long Island, NY.
He is survived by a daughter; Louise McKenzie of Laurinburg, one son; Robert Charles Fertsch of Coral Springs, Florida, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
