Mr. Robert Dale Locklear, 53, of 19441 Apple Lane died Monday, November 13, 2006, at his home.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematoirum Chapel officiated by the Rev. Rodney Strickland.
He is survived by his wife, Rena Louise Clark; four sons, Joseph Clark, Jason Locklear, Delton Locklear and Matthew Locklear all of Laurinburg; one daughter, Robin Smiling of Laurinburg; five brothers and one sister; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Joshua Ray Smiling.
Born February 20, 1953, in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Henry and Thelma Oxendine Cummings. Mr. Locklear was a carpenter and loved to go fishing and would help others in any way he could.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
