Robert "Bob" Craig Davis, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Craig Davis, Sr., 85 years old, of Laurel Hill, NC passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Reid Heart Center in Moore County.

There will be a private graveside service on Friday at Carter Family Cemetery for the family.

He was born on May 21, 1935 in Redstripe Arkansas to the late Guy and Etta Tuttle Davis.

Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years, Freddie; two sons, Robert Craig Davis, Jr. (Melanie Davis) of Laurel Hill and Jeffrey Carter Davis (Ann Davis) of Cherryville, NC.  He is also survived by five grandchildren, Ashley Norton, Tyler Davis, Sarah Davis, Nicolas Davis and Jacob Davis; five great grandchildren; and his brother, Glenn of Oregon.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please wear a mask or face covering and practice social distancing.

The family suggest that memorials be made to Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, PO Box 217, Laurel Hill, NC 28351 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
