Mr. Robert Howard Cragg, 87, of 9520 Cameron Street, Laurel Hill, NC. died Thursday July 18, 2002 in First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00a.m. Saturday at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, Rev. Keith Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
Born April 27, 1915 in Rochester, NY., He was a son of the late George and Anna B. Cragg. He was involved with the Civilian Conservation Corps and a Drill Instructor in the US Army during WWII. After serving his country he was employed as a carpenter with Seaboard Coast Line until his retirement July 7, 1977. He was also a member of the American Legion and Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way. He was preceded in death by his wife Hannah Snead Cragg.
Survivors include his son Brad Cragg of Clearwater, FL., daughter Martha Cragg Hodges of Hickory, NC. and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation is 7-8:30pm. Friday evening at McDougald Funeral Home, Laurel Hill.
