Robert "Bob" Lloyd Ussery

Robert (Bob) Lloyd Ussery, 91, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, in Raleigh, NC. A longtime resident of Laurinburg, NC, Bob was a devoted member of First Baptist Church, joyfully lending his voice to the church choir for 60 years.

A memorial service, with military rites by the Robeson County Honor Guard, will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the First Baptist Church, 302 E. Church St. Laurinburg, NC 28352 at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Jeanne Baucom. A reception will follow after the service in the fellowship hall at the church.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josephine Parker Ussery, whom he faithfully and tenderly cared for in her later years. He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Ussery Eason (L.F.) and Beth Ussery Tote (John); grandchildren Kevin Eason (Michael), Laura Eason, Jonathan Holmes (Angie), and David Holmes (Amanda); and his brother, Calvin Ussery (June), along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

A proud veteran, Bob served in the United States Air Force before beginning a long and dedicated career with Ingraham/Toastmaster. Outside of work, he was known for his quick humor, remarkable woodworking skills, and a steady, humble faith that shaped every part of his life.

His legacy of love, service, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
