Robert "Bob" Lloyd Ussery

Robert (Bob) Lloyd Ussery, 91, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, in Raleigh, NC. A longtime resident of Laurinburg, NC, Bob was a devoted member of First Baptist Church, joyfully lending his voice to the church choir for 60 years.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josephine Parker Ussery, whom he faithfully and tenderly cared for in her later years. He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Ussery Eason (L.F.) and Beth Ussery Tote (John); grandchildren Kevin Eason (Michael), Laura Eason, Jonathan Holmes (Angie), and David Holmes (Amanda); and his brother, Calvin Ussery (June), along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

A proud veteran, Bob served in the United States Air Force before beginning a long and dedicated career with Ingraham/Toastmaster. Outside of work, he was known for his quick humor, remarkable woodworking skills, and a steady, humble faith that shaped every part of his life.

Bob’s family will honor him with a private celebration of life. He will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg, North Carolina.

His legacy of love, service, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
