Robert Ellis 'Bob' Reiman

Mr. Robert "Bob" Ellis Reiman, 78, of 4 Kintyre Court, died Sunday, February 20, 2000.
Born May 28, 1921 in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph and Nina Blue Reiman. A retired 20 year veteran of the US Air Force, Mr. Reiman was a professor at Appalachian State University, and later taught Geography and History at both UNC-Pembroke and St. Andrews Presbyterian College. He also worked in the Zoning Department for Scotland County.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Councill Reiman of the home; two sons, Robert E. Reiman, Jr. of Durham and Richard J. Reiman of Charlotte; a sister, Mildred I. Reiman of Vineland, NJ. Three grandchildren also survive him.
Memorials may be made to the Scotia Village Foundation, 2200 Elm Avenue, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
Private graveside services will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
