Robert Walters "Bobby" Archer, Jr., 58, formerly of Laurinburg, NC passed away Sunday.
A graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by the Rev. Hal Culberson. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Rhye Archer of East Laurinburg; his brothers, Larry Archer (Jean) and Harry Archer of Laurinburg; his sister, Deborah A, Gibson (Tommy) of Albemarle; 5 nephews, 2 nieces, 4 great nephews, 5 great nieces, 1 great great nephew, and his beloved dog, General Lee.
Born August 20, 1956 in Scotland County, he was also a son of the late Robert W. Archer. He worked in construction and painting, and his true love was hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
