Richard Otis Tinsman, 66, of 5000 Main street died suddenly Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at his home.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Quick Tinsman; a daughter, Melissa Lee Dawn Tinsman Storey of Wagram; a brother, Samuel Tinsman of Baltimore; three sisters, Betty Hall and Gloria Loeffler of Baltimore and Bev Ziegenheim of Hanover, PA; a granddaughter, Sierra Dawn Storey of Wagram.
Born September 18, 1941 in Washington, DC, he was a son of the late Otis Richard and Alice Mae Hill Tinsman. He served with the US Army in Vietnam. He later was employed at Abbott Labs, Locklear Cabinet Shop in Rowland, and Wilco-Hess on S. Main St. Richard loved fishing and cracking "one liners." He was oriented toward his family and loved woodworking.
