Candor
Richard Everett Greene, 76, of Candor, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026 at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Troy Pentecostal Holiness Church, 230 Bilhen St., Troy, NC 27371, officiated by Pastor Richard Lynthacum.
Born October 19, 1949, in Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Manley and Irene Mabe Greene. Richard enjoyed showing trucks, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his sons, Stevie Greene (Betty), and John Greene (April), both of Troy; brother, Delmar Greene (Janet) of Lexington; five grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Bumgarner Family Funeral Service is assisting the Greene family.
