Regina Marlene Gainey

Regina Marlene Gainey, passed away on February 15, 2025, in Polk County, Florida at the age of 52.

Born on May 13, 1972, in Scotland County, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Gainey, Jr. and Sharon Norton Gainey.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Hillside Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor D.J. Byrd. Regina is survived by her partner, Bruce Rimar of Lakeland, FL; her brother, Bruce Gainey, and his wife, Vickie, of Laurinburg; her nieces and nephews, Valli Williams and Erin Gainey both of Laurinburg, and Andrew Hunt of Gibson; two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Regina liked spending time on the beach with the sand between her toes. She was an avid reader and had a passion for cooking. Regina also enjoyed the simple pleasures of quiet moments at home and the occasional shopping trip.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium.
