Mrs. Rebecca Bailey Simmons, 60, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the East Laurinburg Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Richard Tyson.
She is survived by her husband, Don L. Simmons; two sons, Don L. Simmons, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA and Jordan Lee Simmons of Laurinburg; two sisters, Darlene Swing and Rosemary McKeithan of Laurinburg; two grandchildren, Victoria Leigh Simmons and Nicholas Connor Simmons of Baton Rouge.
Born December 30, 1948 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Mary Jordan Bailey. She was a homemaker.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
