Devoted wife and mother, Becky Norton has completed her life’s journey. Preceded in death by her loving husband William of 44 years, Becky passed in Myrtle Beach SC.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel. Burial will be private.

She is survived by her son David and wife Amy, son William (III) and wife Christi, a daughter Penny and husband Clark.

A beloved grandmother, Becky was grandmother to Aaron, Alexa, Jesse, Gwen, Natalie, Shelly, Bryan and Jarrett. She was a great-grandmother to four great granddaughters, four great-grandsons and one on the way. She was known simply as “grandma” by all. Becky is also survived by older sister Marion and chosen sister Sandra. Additionally, Becky is survived by many more, Charles, Margaret, Harrison, Bette, Buck, Carol and Richard, along with many nieces and nephews.

Becky was a frequent cruise ship passenger and loved to “burn the road up” when she was able, from the mountains of the Smokeys to the shores of the Carolinas she was there. She was also known to have a love of the slots.

Becky, you have touched our hearts and will be sorely missed!
