Rebecca Ann Hogan, 72, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Providence Chapel Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Clyde Allen. The family will receive friends following the service. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, face masks are suggested and please practice social distancing.
Born November 4, 1949, in Iredell County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Wallace and Lottie Lapish Spivey. Rebecca loved her job as a CNA, enjoyed helping people, and she never met a stranger. She loved her flowers, especially spring time when everything started to bloom. Rebecca especially loved her dog, Penny.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hogan, of twenty-eight years, of the home; daughters, Leslie Laplume (Daniel) of Seagrove, Mary Ann Sullivan (Bo) of Eagle Springs, and Janet Hall (Daniel) of Biscoe; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Brewer and grandson, Matthew Sullivan.
