Rebecca Ellen Greene

Rebecca “Becky” Ellen Greene, 55, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life service will be Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bucky Davis.  The service will be live streamed on our Facebook page. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, seating will be limited.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Born March 23, 1965 in Tampa, Florida, she was a daughter of Paul E. Burroughs, Sr. of Tampa, Florida and the late Leona Kitchen Burroughs.  She was a Walmart employee.  Becky was a hard working woman who loved her family, church, friends and goats.

In addition to her father, she is survived by a son, Christopher Greene and stepson, Jordan Greene both of the home; one sister, Jennifer Knight of Panama City, FL; four brothers, Paul E. Burroughs, Jr. of South Carolina, Joel Matthew Burroughs of Tampa, FL, Marc Bridges of Texas and Michael Bridges of Tampa, FL; mother-in-law, Jill Lawing (John) of Manteo, North Carolina and father in-law, Bobby Greene (Billie) of Burnsville, NC.  Becky is preceded in death by her mother, Leona Beard and her stepmother, Barbara Jean Burroughs.
