Ray McMillan Jones, 84, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014.
A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Caledonia United Methodist Church Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Kelly Barr.
He is survived by his son, Mark Jones of Kenmore, WA and his sister, Ann Jones Page of Indian Land, SC. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert "Pee Wee" Jones and Carl L. Jones, Jr.
Born February 10, 1930 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Carl L. and Ethel Caddell Jones. He attended Duke University, served in the US Navy, and graduated from Wake Forest University. His career was spent with Exxon working in various parts of the country.
