Randall L. “Randy” Hicks, 66, died July 3, 2017 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 7, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, in Mt. Gilead, officiated by Rev. Gary Rutherford. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery in Troy.
Randy was born June 18, 1951 to the late Graham W. & Rosa “Rose” Lanier Hicks. He graduated from West Montgomery High School in 1969 and from Stanly Technical Community College in 1987 with a degree in Mechanics. He was the owner – operator of Hicks Garage. A member of the Montgomery County Ducks Unlimited, he loved rabbit hunting with friends and watching his dogs work. Randy never met a stranger and loved doing for others.
He is survived by Justin Hicks, Christopher Hicks, and Elaine Cox all of Troy.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Graham Wesley Hicks, Jr.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
