Rachel "Carol" Frazier

Rachel Carol Harris Frazier, 78, of Troy passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at her home.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Gilead, officiated by Rev. Dennis Shaw and Rev. Dave Wensil.

Born November 15, 1946, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Blanche Dennis Harris. Carol was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and served as the assistant pianist. She had a great passion to help others, especially her family and friends.

Carol attended East Carolina University and also California State University-Haywood School of Business and Economics where she graduated with a degree in business and economics. She had worked for Air Liquid in California and later moved to Florida to work for Air Liquid until she retired.

She is survived by her aunts, Marie Morris of Troy, Coline Gibson of Mt. Gilead, and Peggy Dennis of Albemarle; uncle, Jesse Dennis (Mary Ellen) of Troy; sister-in-law, Janice Ward of Bancroft, Michigan; brother-in-law, Larry Frazier (Lana) of St. Cloud, Florida; caregivers, Greta Baldwin and Jazzmine Baldwin; her four-legged companion, Jazzie; and several cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Salisbury and Thomas James (Tom) Frazier.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 569 Liberty Hill Church Rd., Mt. Gilead, NC 27306.
