Winston-Salem
Miss Queen Hunt, 87, formerly of Robeson County died Thursday, November 30, at Pellcare Nursing Home in Winston-Salem.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium chapel officiated by the Rev. Howard Harding. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Born December 19, 1912 in Robeson County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Rachel Hammons Hunt. She was a retired nurses assistant.
She is survived by a sister, Marguerite Chavis of Maxton; a brother-in-law, James Ivey of Winston-Salem; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
