Prince Albert Neal, Jr., 66, finished his course in faith on Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the East Laurinburg Church of God officiated by the Rev. Brett Davis. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Taylor Neal; His son, Paul A. "Toby" Neal (Denise) of Raeford; his daughter, Priscilla Young (Chris) of Laurinburg; his brothers, Tracy Gibson (Betty) of Laurinburg and James Neal of Columbia, SC; his sisters, Mary Hatcher of Columbia, SC and Alice Boone (Ed) of Laurinburg; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Prince was born March 2, 1948 in Scotland County as a son of the late Prince A. and Eva Gibson Neal, and brother of the late Bill Gibson and Frankie Neal. He began construction on the new LOF Glass Plant (now Pilkington) in 1972 and continued service the company as a furnace technician until his retirement in 2005.
Prince enjoyed his family, his church family and doing small things for others such as cleaning their yards. He also enjoyed gold and fishing when his health permitted and later loved just taking rides in the country.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the East Laurinburg Church of God.
Memorials are requested for the Church of God Children's Home, 3485 Orphanage Rd., Concord, NC 28027.
