Mr. Pickett Lee Loftin, 87, of 444 Morrison Road, died Monday at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel in Laurinburg with Rev. Richard Alderman officiating. Burial will follow in McLean Cemetery in Maxton.
Born June 7, 1913 in Denton, he was a son of the late Mose L. and Chappel Surratt Loftin.
Mr. Loftin was retired from Rae Magnet Wire, Inc. He was a former Elder at Midway Presbyterian Church, and later a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Little Rock Baptist Church in Little Rock, SC.
The surviving members of his family, which rejoices in his life and witness, are his wife; Mary Lou McRae Loftin of the home, two sons; Michael Loftin of Chattanooga, TN and Ronald McRae Loftin of Raleigh, two daughters; Andrea Louise Hamilton of Miami, FL and Sarah Ellen Cuccio of St. Louis, MO, and ten grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
