Paul Ray Spivey

Paul Ray Spivey, a loving and kind man known for his friendliness, passed away on June 4, 2023, in Candor, North Carolina. Born on August 4, 1963, in Montgomery County, Paul was 59 years old at the time of his passing.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.

Paul was a son of the late Robey Cecil and Ruby Louise Latham Spivey. Throughout his life, Paul maintained a strong bond with his family, cherishing every moment spent with them. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. A sports enthusiast, Paul enjoyed watching various athletic activities. Football and Nascar were among his favorites, and he could often be found cheering on his favorite teams and drivers with unbridled enthusiasm.

Paul is survived by his son, Chris Spivey (Jordan) of Biscoe; brother, Rodney Spivey (Dorothy) of Randleman; sisters, Patsy Varner (Junior), Demetrice Eubanks, both of Candor, and Paula Faye Spivey of Biscoe. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Spivey, Frankie Spivey, and Tim Spivey; and half-sister, Lucille Costin.
