Mrs. Pansy Blackwell Nowell 54, of 7903 Fletcher Road, died Wednesday at N C Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the East Laurinburg Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Born August 14, 1946 in Laurinburg, she was a daughter of the late L. T. and Gladys Carter Tyson. She was the manager of Spring Chase Apartments and a member of the East Laurinburg Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband; Joseph Nowell of the home, two sons; William and Danny Pate both of Laurinburg, four sisters; Mildred Dean of Wagram, Norma Maultsby of Laurinburg, Sharon Allen of Pittsboro and Carolyn VanAntwerp of Fayetteville, four brothers; Marshall Tyson of Laurinburg, C. J. Tyson of Laurel Hill, Richard Tyson of Gibson and Randy Tyson of Fayetteville, five grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM Friday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
