Osma Munn Turner

Mrs. Osma Munn Turner, 89, of 519 First Street died Tuesday, September 5, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Jerry Lowry. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery in Johnsonville, SC.

She is survived by a son, Jerrell Turner of Fairborn, OH; a daughter, Sherryl Parks of Orlando, FL; four sisters, Devon Prosser, Hazel Cox, Virginia Cagle and Bettye Turner of Florence, SC; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; and 2 step great grandchildren.

Born August 6, 1911 in Pamplico, SC, she was a daughter of the late Morris Eugene and Tenzil Prosser Munn and widow of the late Jubal F. Turner. She was a retired employee of Morgan-Jones and Springs Mills.

Memorials are requested for the First United Methodist Church, 101 W. Church St., Laurinburg, NC 28352.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
