Mrs. Opal H. Clark, 84 of Richmond, VA, formerly of Laurinburg and Red Springs, NC, died peacefully Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Chippenham Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Hillside Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Dr. Tom Dendy.
She is survived by a son, William H. Clark, Jr. and a daughter, Terry Rice Evans both of Richmond, VA; four sisters, Treva Smith of Conway, SC, Betty Causey of Aberdeen, NC, Polly Henry of Livingston, LA, June Peele of Hampstead, NC; two grandchildren, Robert B. Evans, III of Richmond, VA, Shanon E. Gilbert of Colorado Springs, CO; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Clark, Sr.
Born December 18, 1924 in Mount Airy, NC she was a daughter of the late Charles Harrison and Minnie Adkins Hill.
