Norma Deen Witham Hendricks, 94, passed away on June 5, 2014.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church followed by burial in Hillside Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Born on April 25, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Brian and Amanda Johnson Witham.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Richard "Dick" Hendricks; her son, Robert Allen Flood (Kelly) of Reevesville, S.C.; two sisters, Maybert Matsen of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Elizabeth Anderson of Laurens, Iowa; three grandchildren, William Todd Howe, Sean Patrick Howe and Allen Patrick Flood; two great grandsons, Ethan Todd Howe and Cole Patrick Flood; and loving caregiver, Hilda Locklear. She was predeceased by her daughter, Patti Flood Howe, a brother, George Johnson and a sister, Bertha Guiney.

Norma was a member of the Scotch Gardners Club. She was also Bingo "Queen" of the Catholic Church and ran it for about 30 years. She loved to travel and for 21 years she owned a motor home and traveled over 48 states.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, PO Box 1148, Laurinburg, NC 28353, Scotland County Humane Society, 1401 West Blvd, Laurinburg, NC 28352, and Hospice of Scotland County, PO Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
